We could actually feel Mary’s joy and wonderment at the birth of Jesus and her sorrow at His crucifixion. With Elizabeth, we experienced what it is like to want a baby and not have that prayer answered until late in life, and then to have it leap in her womb and be filled with the Holy Spirit when she heard Mary’s greeting. When Eve appeared at our recent ladies’ conference, we all sat in awe as she described the garden, the temptation, and the guilt she felt. "Recently, I had the pleasure of seeing two historic women of the Bible (Abigail, David's 3rd wife, and Mary, mother of Jesus) portrayed beautifully by Carla Cloud in Perdido Key, Florida. Mrs. Cloud is performing these characters as part of 'A Gentle Witness' production. I was mesmerized and in awe as she walked us through a chapter in these characters' lives, complete with period costume.

She told us about a time period in the characters' lives, interweaving Bible stories we know by heart as well as little known facts, with researched historical accuracy. Anyone with an interest in the Bible would love seeing these characters come to life in front of their eyes. I am truly blessed to have been able to witness these productions and look forward to seeing all of her characters."
